star of the week... CATHERINE!

CATHERINE is 11 years old

and she is really good at painting and tumbling...

she also enjoys playing soccer and running!

 

her favorite foods are FRUIT (especially watermelon),

dark chocolate, chocolate covered fruit,

and chocolate covered nuts...

when she grows up she would like to be a photographer...

she also likes taking care of animals

so maybe a vet too...

and also a fashion designer!

 

she loves going to the beach

and shopping with friends,

but she wishes she could fly

so that she can get to her favorite places faster!

last saturday the gigi's fab kids lemonade stand team

raised $243.49 for the Alaqua Animal Refuge !

the superstar volunteers included allee summer, olivia,

addie, lilly, eliza, nina, sophie, thad, ava, and hanna!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

if you haven't been to the gigi's lemonade stand lately,

you've gotta come see the kids perform

the "thank you" song.

our friend ATTICUS created it last year

and each team since has kept it going...

 

it can get very theatrical!

 

it's definitely worth a donation just for the song alone!

come by and see / hear it TODAY (and every saturday)

when the kids roll out the stand between 3:00-5:00!

they are super excited about raising even more money

for the animals of ALAQUA...

so far this summer the kids

have raised $1,181.94 for AAR!

it's located in seacrest beach's peddler's pavilion

so now girls sizes 7-16 have TWO places to shop:

both gigi's AND stellar...

and we all know how much they like to shop!

MAGGIE is almost 8 years old

and hopes to get a new pet bird that can speak for her birthday...

she would really like to teach it to wake her up in the morning

and say nice encouraging things!

 

at her birthday party, she hopes her friends

will bring canned foods for charity instead of gifts!

 

she would like to be a dancer when she grows up...

she really enjoys playing soccer

because she gets to run a lot

and because her dad buys her gatorade!

 

she's really good at doing back handsprings,

and she hopes to visit AFRICA some day

so she can ride an elephant!

she's a CHEERLEADER

with the "southern spirit sparklers"!

this summer she will go to BALLET camp,

and she's very excited about spinning on her toes.

 

recently she lost a tooth while at the beach...

instead of money,

the tooth fairy gave her special Gigi's gift certificates

to redeem each day that she was in rosemary beach!

 

her favorite food is OKRA naturally, isn't every kids'?

and of course, red suckers...

when she grows up she wants to be a 1st grade teacher

because she wants to teach other kids

what she has learned.

she really loves animals... 

her favorite animal is a horse.

but her favorite thing to paint is pictures of puppies!
