some kids and i put together a fun little number
and performed it at the south walton christmas parade
on 30A last weekend... it was so much fun to perform!
we threw candy and beads all along the parade route
from the gigi's truck and some accompanying golf carts...
then we stopped a few times to perform...
our lovely young song bird HOLLAND sang for us,
while the rest of us danced...
we changed the lyrics of some regular pop songs
and turned them into a nontraditional christmas mashup!
when we arrived in SEASIDE
the crowd was huge!
the first part of the routine was sung to the tune of
"don't stop believin" by journey...
the boys got wild during the air guitar solos...
yes, he is strumming his air guitar
while doing the splits!
then came the hip hop section...
sung to the tune of "low" by flo rida...
don't worry, we changed the lyrics A LOT!
jack was the ultimate gangsta santa
and just nodded his head to the beat.
"he wears a red velvet suit
and the boots with the furrrrrr...."
"he hits the snow, next thing you know,
santa goes HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO....."
peace out!
then we drove off to the cheering of the crowd...
we were so excited to meet this guy!!
he was at the tail end of the parade.
after the parade was over,
he and mrs claus turned on SEASIDE'S christmas lights!
it was magical!

this SUNDAY at rosemary beach's st augustine park,
at the unveiling of the pet mural that was created
for the new ALAQUA UNLEASHED DOG PARK.
the event will be held from 1-4.
30A Dancewave is scheduled to perform at 1:30,
and Gigi's performs at 3:00!
