this past weekend was so fun! it started off HOT and humid, which didn't seem right... but kids loved being able to run around in shorts and even swim in the gulf! there was so much going on up and down 30A. in ROSEMARY BEACH, some of the activities included a holiday market, game day at Gigi's, performances by 30A DANCEWAVE and SEASIDE REP THEATRE, santa's arrival in a horse drawn buggy, the christmas tree lighting, merchant open houses, breakfast with santa, "greatest wish" art project at Gigi's (glob post coming soon!), and the fifth annual BOCCE tournament... we also recruited a few kids to ride on the gigi's truck in the south walton community holiday parade in SEASIDE. normally, i choreograph and perform a little dance in the parade with some kids... but this year, time got away from me and it just didn't happen. so i was thrilled that we were able to tag along behind the 30A DANCEWAVE dancers. it was an honor. they have classes at THE STUDIO in seaside. they did a great job and it took a little pressure off of me! after the parade, we were able to catch the tree lighting and santa's arrival in SEASIDE! so, here are a few pics of this jam packed weekend:
THANK you to all of you who spent their THANKSGIVING at the beaches of south walton... whether you stay in rosemary beach, alys beach, seaside, watercolor or any town in between, we appreciate you VERY much. hope to see even more of you at CHRISTMAS and NEW YEARS...
30A is a great place to celebrate with your family!
