the team from last week's lemonade stand
raised $286.50 for the Alaqua Animal Refuge...
woo hooooo! great job emj, hen, raelei, olivia, and caitlin!
and special THANKS to all of the thirsty patrons...
we have now gone past
the $2,000.00 mark for the summer!
that's a lot of kibble!
we have another lemonade stand
to benefit alaqua animal refuge
scheduled for today from 3:00 - 5:00!
the lemonade stands will continue every sat afternoon
through labor day weekend...
come'n get you some!

MOLLY is 11 years old and loves learning about science!
when she grows up she wants to be a pediatrician.
she plays the piano and the trumpet...
and hopes to learn to play
katy perry's "teenage dream" on the trumpet some day...
she has a 5 year old brother
and they like to annoy each other (in a cute way).
she can recite every line in every episode
of nick jr's NI HAO KAI...
she likes fashions and she likes to cook.
she has been able to make eggs since she was 6,
and once she made a chocolate cake from scratch
with her best friend jordan!

so you may have heard that the
south walton community july 4th parade
was completely washed out this year on 30A...
so my little friends and i had to be patient
and wait for the next best opportunity
to perform our annual fourth of july dance routine:
at the rosemary beach
KIDS ROCK THE BLOCK PARTY!
we finally got to show our stuff
and celebrate AMERICA and our community
the best way we know how...
dancing in the streets!
we danced to the song #thatpower
by will.i.am and justin bieber...

last saturday, the lemonade stand crew
raised a whopping $273.31
for the Alaqua Animal Refuge!
this rockin' team consisted of parker, kai, riley, avery,
savannah, raelei, and olivia!
superb job kids!
we have another lemonade stand scheduled
for THIS AFTERNOON!
come by between 3:00 and 5:00
to see the kid volunteers in action,
to make a donation,
and to sip yummy lemonade through a twizzler straw!

here's another super fun project...
we invited kids to make their own mustache photo props
at the WHAT'S UP table recently!
they used mustaches cut out of card stock,
colored them with markers, and taped a stick to the back!
then they posed in front of the gigi's stage backdrop
for MISS COCOA's camera with their finished product!
great job kids... i hardly recognized you!

by the way, last week's lemonade stand was rained out,
but we still raised money for Alaqua Animal Refuge
by having a "twizzler stand" at our register...
combined with the donations collected
at the week's WHAT'S UP events,
plus $5 per gigi's tshirt sold during the week,
we made a total of $202.56 for the homeless animals!
special thanks to all the kids who signed up to volunteer
and were on call in case it cleared up:
caitlin, sophie, ellie, emj, hen, raelei, olivia,
eva, taylor, anna, and lea!
we have a lemonade stand scheduled for today
from 3:00-5:00! come out and get you some!
