rosemary beach halloween bash 2013

in ROSEMARY BEACH,

we celebrated halloween this past saturday

so that families could enjoy a full day of festive fun.

there was a harvest market in town center

showcasing items made by artists and artisans,

a pumpkin carving contest, hayrides, a moonwalk,

airbrush tattoos, a haunted cemetery,

the OHANA INSTITUTE'S fourth annual

SCARECROW LANE and bake sale,

and of course TRICK-OR-TREATING!

it's so fun to see how all the kids are dressed up

each year...  this is one of my favorites:

the royal baby flanked by buckingham palace guards!

in florida, our trees don't get a whole lot of autumn color...

so we invited kids to create their own fall foliage!

they just tore colorful paper by hand,

arranged it artfully,

and glued it down with glue stick!

popsicle banner group project

 

YUM!  popsicles!  only these don't melt...

one of our WHAT'S UP projects this summer

was inviting kids to help us make a popsicle banner.

like so many great ideas, we found this on pinterest...

the pic led us to a cute website where you can buy

pre-made popsicle banners for party decorations,

which is awesome.

but we thought it would be fun

to make a do-it-yourself group project out of it.

didn't these kids do a COOL job?!  get it, cool?  ;)

the south walton fashion week kids fashion show!

this past sunday, our store participated in the

SOUTH WALTON FASHION WEEK kids fashion show

which took place at grand boulevard in sandestin!

here are some of our store's looks

modeled by some pretty FABULOUS kids!

 

so proud of these kids for representing us so well

and really PUTTING ON A SHOW!

there were four other local children's boutiques

represented in the show as well...
