last saturday was the first lemonade stand of the season
and we had such a great team of kids
working together towards a common goal:
to collect donations
for the alaqua animal refuge
and to inform people about the amazing animals
currently living there...
thanks to the awesome team that included
allee summer, lauren grace, raelei,
olivia, shannon, maysie, and jacob!
thanks to all of the wonderful people who donated...
the kids raised $165.50 in just two hours!
woo hoo!

KAILEY is 8 years old
and her favorite colors are pink, purple, and turquoise!
she loves going to the ocean and playing in the waves...
she also enjoys crabbing and bike riding!
her favorite treat is grapefruit frozen yogurt
and she recently tried crab cakes for the first time
and really enjoyed them!
she's an excellent artist
and can often be found crafting or coloring...
when she grows up she wants to be a doctor
because she likes helping people!

the #gigisfabkids LEMONADE stand season 8
begins this saturday (that's tomorrow, ya'll!)
that's right, this will be our eighth season
of bringing animal loving kids together
to raise money for ALAQUA ANIMAL REFUGE!
please come by and purchase a delicious cup
of ice cold lemonade served with a twizzler straw
for a suggested donation of $1...
every single penny goes to the refuge!
if you are a kid who would like to volunteer
to work at the stand,
just send us a facebook message
or an email or swing by the store to sign up!
the stand is open every saturday from 3:00-5:00
starting memorial day weekend
through labor day weekend!
visit our blog "THE GLOB" to see photos
and the amount of money raised for the animals
from each lemonade stand throughout the season!

LILY is 7 years old and she is really good at art!
her favorite singer is KATY PERRY...
she loves DOGS...
she wants to be a basketball player
or a singer when she grows up...
she has a brother, a sister,
a dog, a frog, and two or three fish...
she visited New York City once
and really wants to go again!

recently we invited kids to design a charm
to be entered in the CHARM-IT! charm design contest!
they turned in some very creative designs!
did you know that five years ago,
during the very first CHARM-IT! charm design contest,
one of the winners came from our store!

ELLE is 5 years old
and wants to grow up to be Princess Elsa
so she can freeze things...
one of her favorite things to do
is jump on a trampoline or in a bounce house...
also she likes it when her parents
take her by the hands and SWING her between them!
her favorite colors are pink, and rainbow, and blue...
one of her favorite dreams was about
going on a mickey boat where she had a lot of fun!
she loves her mommy, her daddy,
her dog, and herself,
because you're always supposed to love yourself!
