results from last week's lemonade stand plus a CHANGE in plans

last saturday's outstanding lemonade team

consisted of savannah, zach, nate, riley, sophia,

lauren grace, carter, jess, michelle, avery, kylie,

hannah, and ava...

and together they raised $97.81

for Alaqua Animal Refuge!!

hey, we are switching things up this week!

july fourth is happening this saturday...

so rather than adding another activity

to an already jam-packed day,

we decided to move the lemonade stand

to TODAY from 3:00-5:00!

so it's THIRSTY THURSDAY at gigi's...

swing by for a delicious lemonade

served with a twizzler and a song!

all donations (yes, every bit!) goes to 

THE ALAQUA ANIMAL REFUGE!

MICHELLE is 11 years old and is a really good surfer

because she learned how from her dad!

she also enjoys dancing

with MISS ALYSON at 30A BALLET!

 

when she grows up, she wants to be a pediatrician

because it sounds like the most fun kind of doctor

and she really likes kids!

her favorite foods are ALL fruits...

she's excited to be going to her cousin's wedding soon

because she doesn't get to see her that often

and she really loves her...

 

she enjoys volunteering

to sell #gigisfabkids lemonade

with her sister SOPHIA!

included oliver, lauren grace, shannon, alex, sasha,

the kid volunteers included:

star of the week... REAGAN / and introducing her line "hooked up jewelry"!

REAGAN is 11 years old and has her own motto:

"bows are an obsession and dancing is a lifestyle"!

she loves ACTING

and recently she starred as CHARLIE

in the play "willy wonka & the chocolate factory"!

she wants to be a lawyer when she grows up

because she likes to argue...

she plans to take a "future lawyers course"

that includes participation in a mock trial!

her favorite foods are steak and brocolli...

she has a black lab named SUGAR

and a chocolate lab named JUSTICE...

and she loves her baby brother CLYDE!

 

one of her favorite things to do

is to go FISHING with her dad...

one day she noticed how eye catching

the beads are that are used as fishing tackle...

she decided to string them up on fishing line

and even clamped it with a "sleeve"

which is also used in fishing...

 

ultimately, she created a beautiful necklace

that is completely made from fishing tackle

and that GLOWS in the dark

and incorporates the colors of the emerald coast

and is inspired by her fishing trips with her dad!

 

REAGAN'S line is called "hooked up jewelry"

and is available now at Gigi's!

the #gigisfabkids LEMONADE stand season 8

begins this saturday (that's tomorrow, ya'll!)

that's right, this will be our eighth season

of bringing animal loving kids together

to raise money for ALAQUA ANIMAL REFUGE!

please come by and purchase a delicious cup

of ice cold lemonade served with a twizzler straw

for a suggested donation of $1...

every single penny goes to the refuge!

 

if you are a kid who would like to volunteer

to work at the stand,

just send us a facebook message

or an email or swing by the store to sign up!

the stand is open every saturday from 3:00-5:00

starting memorial day weekend

through labor day weekend!

RACE DAY! 2015 seaside school half marathon & 5k

the SEASIDE SCHOOL HALF MARATHON & 5K

took place this past weekend on 30A

in SEASIDE, FL

and Gigi's hosted a water station

at the half way point of the half marathon

near GULF PLACE...
